Dr. Arthur Weaver, with Better Living Seminars, has been involved in an excellent health camp for the last 30+ years. Thousands of people have gone through, and all have greatly enjoyed it. As he is reaching his 90s, he has graciously passed the retreat onto Renové Health in cooperation with Lifestyle Matters. Below is a letter he wrote to his attendees.
Previous Health Camp Attendees:
Our health camp in my 2013 was the last camp that Natalie and I felt that we would be able to organize. As many of you are aware, we are not as young as we used to be (90+) and after enjoying this privilege of service for about 35 years, we felt that it was best to see if we could find someone else to continue this annual event. We want to be certain that the quality of the seminars would continue to be scientifically sound and that the leaders would be passionate about health and continue the loving concern for any and all participants.
I am happy to share with you some very good news! Evelyn Kissinger and Vicki Griffin from “Lifestyle Matters” have agreed to continue the camp at the same time slot (starting Mothers Day) may 10 to 17 in 2015. I was able to convince Camp Au Sable to continue this arrangement. The Griffin, Kissinger team have help many health seminars on how to be “Fit and Free: Building Brain and Body.” They both have graduate degrees and extensive experience in health education and publication. I suggest you “Google” their names and get a glimpse of their Curriculum Vitae. They have been actively involved with health education for the Seventh-day Adventist Church as well as for the secular community.
More good news! Jeanie Weaver has agreed to continue the exercise program for the camp. This news in itself should be enough for you all to make the reservations now.
